ICHIO Student awards:
Student award will be granted for outstanding presentations by undergraduate and graduate students of Chilean universities. Authors interested in participating in the competition should indicate it at the moment of the registration.
To be eligible, the extended abstract must represent work mainly conducted by a student as part of his undergraduate or postgraduate studies at a Chilean university. There will be two awards, one for undergraduate students and another for graduate students. In the case that a student’s work is part of his undergraduate and master thesis simultaneously, it should be submitted as a graduate student award.
The submission will be judged by a committee established by the Organizing Committees, which will select a group of finalists, who should present their works at a special session during the conference. Extended abstracts and its presentation will be evaluated according to distinct criteria: quality of the work, originality and presentation skills. The award will be announced at the closing ceremony.
